Noetic Spirit (aka Joy4Being)

Have you ever asked, "How and why do we happen to live on this planet we call Earth?', or "What is our role in this vast universe?". Although these are reasonable questions, most people have difficulty answering them. Some may say "we live in order to enjoy life". People with deep religious persuasion may declare that we have been born on this Earth in order to love and worship God. These answers are not likely to satisfy the questions.

One may wonder how consciousness and intelligence originated and about the mechanics and reasons for life itself to take hold in such a spectacularly violent universe. In order to answer these questions, let us rely on logic as opposed to dogma, and logic when scientific methods have not succeeded.
